How do I schedule an appointment with the salon?

1. Click Login here to access the login screen. Enter your loginID and password and click Submit. If you do not have a login and password, you must create a client account. (See “How do I obtain a loginID and password?”)

2. Select your desired technician using the dropdown menu. If you do not have a preferred technician, select .

3. Select the service you wish to have performed, then click Add to Cart.

4. Repeat steps 2 & 3 until you have selected all the services you wish to have performed during your visit, then click Continue. As you add services, your cart may automatically rearrange the order of the services in accordance with the salon’s scheduling requirements. This cannot be changed.

5. A calendar will display the days of availability for the services you wish to have performed. The days in white indicate availabilities. You may see more availabilities by clicking Next 35 days.

6. Select the day you would like to schedule your services. If there are no availabilities displayed, or the availabilities displayed do not suit you, you may wish to click the Back button on your browser and select a different arrangement of technicians and services.

7. After you select the day, a list of available start times for the first of your desired services will be displayed. Click the desired start time. The rest of your desired services will be automatically scheduled to follow your first service.

8. A screen containing your appointment information will be displayed. Review the information to ensure that the appointment times and services you desire are correct. If you would like to send a message to the salon or your technician, you may do so in the ,Comments box. If you would like to be placed on a waiting list for an earlier appointment time, check the wait list box, then enter your desired appointment time in the Comments box. If you are new to the salon, check the First visit box. Click Submit Appointment.

9. A confirmation screen will be displayed acknowledging the receipt of your appointment. Additionally, an email will be sent to you within ten minutes of your appointment submission to again confirm its receipt. You will be provided with a ten-digit confirmation number. Save this number – your salon may ask for it if you have any inquiries regarding this appointment.

Why do the order of services I add to the cart sometimes rearrange themselves?

Many salons have unique scheduling needs that require certain services to be performed before or after others. These needs have been configured into the system, and therefore some services may be automatically reordered as you add them to the cart.

How do I change or cancel an existing appointment? s

Most salons and spas prefer that you telephone them in order to change or cancel an appointment. Please consult your salon or spa for their preferred procedure. Appointments cannot be changed or cancelled from the SalonMaster system.

How can I be placed on a wait list for an earlier appointment time?

From the Review Appointment Information screen, check the wait list box, then enter your desired appointment time in the Comments box. NOTE: You must make an appointment with the salon before you can be placed on a wait list for an earlier time.

Why does the SalonMaster system display no availabilities for the current day, but if I call the salon, they have say they have availabilities?

To ensure efficient business operations of the salons and spas, the SalonMaster system does not allow same day appointments to be scheduled. Back To Top

What if I want to schedule further in the future than the SalonMaster system allows?

The individual salon and spa has determined how far in advance the SalonMaster system will allow users to schedule. Contact your salon or spa if you would like to schedule further in advance than the system allows.

What is a loginID?

A loginID is a unique name that you use along with your password to identify yourself to the SalonMaster online booking system. Your loginID must be unique, meaning that it must be different from all other loginIDs in use.

When you sign up for an SalonMaster account online, you will be able to choose your own loginID (as long as that loginID is not already in use). If you obtain your password from the salon, a loginID will already be assigned to you. You may change your loginID and password by logging on to your salon’s SalonMaster system.

You may use your salon’s SalonMaster online booking system without logging in, but you must login before your appointment can be submitted to the salon, or before you access your account information.

How do I obtain a loginID (login name) and password?

There are two ways in which you may obtain a loginID and password. The first way is to sign up for an SalonMaster account online. Go to your salon’s SalonMaster page from their website. Click Click here to create an account. Fill out the Account Request form and click Submit. Note that your name, preferred loginID, valid email address and home phone number are required to process your request. Also, be sure to select whether you would like to receive a 24-hour reminder notice of your appointment from the salon by telephone, or by email, or both.

The second way to obtain a loginID and password is from your salon directly. If your salon is using SalonMaster and you have an appointment with that salon, you may already have a loginID and password. Your salon will be able to give it to you when you arrive for your appointment.

Why did I not receive my password?

Please wait at least ten minutes for your password to be emailed to you. The password will be sent to the email address you had entered in the Client Account signup form.

If you have not received your password within ten minutes of submitting your request, you may not have entered your email address accurately. Another possibility is that the Salon123 mail server or your own Internet service provider’s mail server may be experiencing difficulties.

DO NOT SUBMIT A REQUEST FOR ANOTHER ACCOUNT. Please call our 24-hour tech support line and report your difficulty. A customer care representative will assist you.

How do I change my password?

After logging in using your current loginID and password, click Modify password. Enter your new password into the Password field and click Submit. You do not have to log in again using the new password until the next time you log in.

How do I change my loginID or other account information?

After logging in, click the Your Account icon in the upper right-hand corner, then click Modify your account information. Make the desired changes to your account information and click Submit.

What if I forget my password or my loginID?

Go to the login screen, and then click Forget password? Enter your email address and click “Request password”. Your password and loginID will be emailed to you. IMPORTANT! The email address that you enter must be the same as the email address listed in your Client Account Information. For security purposes, passwords will only be sent to that email address. Passwords will not be given over the telephone.

Do I need to obtain a different loginID and password for each salon and spa I visit?

No. You may use your loginID and password for any salon or spa that uses the SalonMaster online booking system. In fact, it is recommended that you use only one loginID and password so that you can track all of your appointments at different salons and spas in one place.

Why do I keep getting bumped off the salon’s SalonMaster system?

There may be a compatibility issue with your web browser and operating system. Please call our 24-hour tech support line, or email us at support@salonmaster.com and report your difficulty. In the meantime, try accessing the SalonMaster system with a different web browser, if possible.

What is a Tickler Email and how do I change the frequency or stop receiving the them?

The Tickler Email is a reminder service from SalonMaster. It will send you an email after a specified period of time has passed since your last appointment at a salon and you have not yet re-scheduled.

The default frequency is four weeks. You may change the frequency or turn off the Tickler Email service by clicking Modify Client Account after you login.
